NaNoWriMo is one week away!

I'm really excited for NaNoWriMo this year! My mind is going crazy thinking about all the writing possibilities. This year, I think I'm going to write a historical fiction. I'm not sure about the time setting yet, but I'm thinking it's going to end up being about prohibition in the bourbon capital of the world - Bardstown, where I live. I guess there are a ton of resources here for me to use, because Bardstown seems to be obsessed with that time period anyway with their museums and distilleries and all. What a way to take an innocent tourists money.

But I'm also thinking of writing about a soldier's point of view during the Revolutionary war. And, to make it even more interesting, making it a view of a Hessian soldier who cowardly runs away from the war, and tries going unnoticed in America. Oh god, there are so many things I could write about! I'm so excited!
